This article will help you understand the communication tools we use for internal and external purposes.

How To: Communication Tools

We use 3 main tools for communicating: Slack, Intercom, and Email. Below I will walk you through each of these tools.

 

EMAIL:

Your email will be one of the main hubs for communication with clients and team members. This is where you will receive NEW CLIENT emails, changes to accounts, and more! Head over to gmail.com and log in using the login provided in your NEW HIRE email.

 

SLACK:

If you are looking for a quick & in the moment response from a team member or client, Slack is the place to go! Once you have completed this onboarding you will be added into a team chat called "Social Media Managers", this is where we post team updates, tips, and tricks. Please see the link below for a quick video tutorial on using Slack.

 

For any specific questions please use your “Questions” channel with Laura and Jessica.

INTERCOM:

Intercom is where you manage feedback from clients. You will use these essentially as your "to-do" list. Please note, you will not be responding to clients directly using this platform - all client communication is done via email.
